The Environment: We have to think ahead and make sure we don't destroy things we need in the future - for ourselves and for future generations. This includes not only clean air and water, but the beauty and wildness of nature. There are so many things that, once gone, cannot be replaced.

Abortion Rights: Every woman should have the right to choose her own destiny. No one else can know what she is going through when she is pregnant and no one set of rules always applies. Women have the ability to think for themselves and that ability cannot be denied with their own bodies.

Feminism Feminism boils down to the simple saying - "Women are people too." There are so many ways today that people don't acknowledge that. It doesn't mean that everyone has to be the same or do the same thing. It doesn't mean women should be more like men or that men and women can't live together. What it means is that each person should be valued for themselves and for what they can contribute to society. We must broaden our outlook and think in new ways, not overlooking those contributions that are too often taken for granted.
