When you're riding, you must never look at what you don't want to hit. Well, I guess I forgot that during practice this week because I slammed my entire left side into a tree. Although the tree did give me a black eye, swollen knuckles, and a nothing to look at but pretty painful bruises on my left leg, I did manage to take some bark off of the tree, does that make us even? The CT scan and hand x-rays showed nothing broken and the bruise on my leg is all that really hurts. And yes, the CT scan did show a brain in there :-)
